Established in 2023, the Mastercard Foundation Asset Management (MFAM) Corporation was created to build a diversified investment portfolio for the Mastercard Foundation. MFAM is headquartered in Toronto, Canada. We have a global investment strategy and mandate to deliver returns that will fund the philanthropic mission of the Mastercard Foundation and its partners in Africa and Canada over the long term.

The Foundation has offices in Toronto, Kigali, Accra, Nairobi, Kampala, Lagos, Dakar, and Addis Ababa.

WHo you’ll work with

You will report to the Director, Finance and Operations and will build and maintain relationships with teams across MFAM, the Mastercard Foundation, external consultants and vendors. As a member of the team, you will have opportunities to grow and develop and create meaningful value and lasting impact through the Mastercard Foundation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a world-class finance function within a growing asset management company that directly supports one of the largest private foundations in the world. In this role, you will combine technical accounting expertise with strategic problem-solving to establish best-in-class accounting, reporting and control frameworks. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of MFAM’s financial operations, while contributing to the organization’s long-term impact.

This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to be onsite at our Toronto, Ontario office for the majority of the week (typically 3-4 days).
